Venturi Systems
The Venturi provides customers with a cost effective option
for removing trim and/or waste. Venturis can be a stand-alone
system or a component in a larger system.
Fans
In an effort to offer the very best solution possible to the
customer's trim system removal concerns, CTM Systems provides
systems with the type of fans that best solve the application
presented.
Air
Separation
Air separation can be accomplished with several different
types of equipment. Some applications do not require air separation,
such that the scrap exits from the exhaust of a venturi system
directly into a bin or container of some kind.
Ducting
CTM Systems is an authorized NORDFAB Quickfit ducting products
distributor.
Cutters /
Choppers
The Model 35 rotary cutter is now available as a "High Precision"
or HP version. With the HP version, CTM Systems now provides
a rotary cutter that will cut thin films to as thin as .0005"
(0.0127 mils).
Filtration
Dust filtration,
that curious after thought to removal of scrap from producing
many different types of materials, is one of the most intriguing
parts of scrap removal systems.
Static Removal
In the course of moving cut or chopped scrap trim through
ducting using vacuum forced air, the scrap (or recycled) trim
can pick up static electric charges. This is more common with
light films (cast, blown, etc.) than with heavy paper, laminates
or non-wovens.
