Trim removal systems are offered with many different types of infeed hose
and conveying ducting. The infeeds can be flex hose (an interlocking galvanized
steel) or hard tubing (aluminum or galvanized steel).
The ducting after the venturi, rotary cutter, chopper fan, material handling
fan and up to the baler, compactor or gaylord is usually aluminum or galvanized
steel. The galvanized steel ducting is normally a "Quick-connect" type of tubing,
with spring loaded clamps on short runs of duct (5 feet).
Aluminum tubing comes with compression couplings to connect all pieces,
including ducting, elbows and specialty pieces such as "Y" connections and laterals.
